Broaden your horizon – come and study in the Netherlands!
Did you know that every year many foreigners – also from Poland – come to the Netherlands to study? Many universities in the Netherlands offer degree programmes in English, so it is not necessary to learn Dutch. NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences is a renowned institute that offers several English-taught degree programmes. NHTV was founded in 1966 and offers management programmes in the field of digital entertainment, hospitality, mobility, tourism and leisure.


NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences: a different twist on studying
Education at NHTV is strongly practice-oriented. Projects, skills training sessions, company visits, work placements and graduation assignment make up important components of the curriculum. Lecturers and tutors often work in the industry part-time, and as a result, they are perfectly capable of keeping students updated on the everyday practice and the developments in the field. Students learn to open up to different cultures and lifestyles, different views. They learn how to let go of obvious ideas and how to develop their own values. This makes it a great place for students who wish to broaden their horizons and broaden their knowledge. NHTV has 6.500 students from over 50 countries – so there are lots of cultures to get acquainted with!

The city of Breda
NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences is situated in the south of the Netherlands, in the historic city of Breda. The city has ca.170.000 inhabitants, 13.500 of which are students. Breda is only 100 km from both Amsterdam and Brussel and with the high-speed train you can get to Paris within 4 hours. Breda has a lot to offer: there are many cinemas and pubs and there is a wide variety in students’ associations. Moreover, life in Breda is cheaper than life in large cities like Amsterdam en Rotterdam.

Internationally accepted diploma’s
All Bachelor and Master programmes that NHTV offers, have been accredited and are internationally accepted. Acquiring a Bachelor degree takes you 4 years. For a Master degree you need 1 (additional) year.
